Cutting Edge Guidelines

How Cutting Edge is Changing
- We are working to provide virtual options for our Bible studies and Bottom Lines in order for those who don't feel comfortable in group settings to continue to engage with us.
- We are moving our large group activities outdoors while also focusing on a small group centered style of ministry.
- We are cleaning the Villa more frequently and implementing occupancy limits to maintain social distance.
Principles during the Pandemic
1. We acknowledge and trust that God has complete control of the situation and have hope that God will use these trials to strengthen His Church.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
-Romans 8:28
Though this school year will face challenges and hurdles unlike any we have ever faced, we know that there are also unique opportunities to serve and glorify His name.
2. We strive to maintain unity in the body and encourage one another, whether in person or virtually.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
-Hebrews 10:24-25
We want to stay connected with you! If you don't feel comfortable at a large event, we'd love to go on a socially distanced walk or talk over Zoom with you. Just let us know!
3. We will obey all federal, state, local, and school government orders.
"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."
-Romans 13:1
All government authority comes from God, and we recognize their rules are in our best interest. As Christ's ambassadors, we also want to be a light and not stain his image through disobedience.
4. We live but one day at a time, but live for eternity in that one day
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
-2 Corinthians 4:18
During this time, while we strive to take care of our physical health, we also don't want to neglect our spiritual health. We realize the desperate need of our campus and community to come to have a personal relationship with Christ and are committed to making his name known, even if it requires some creative ways.
